Ever wondered what search operators you have at your fingertips that you ignore every time you use Google? Well I did, because these can definitely help out especially as a Search Engine Marketing Tool.

I’ve always been great with shortcut keys, EX:
Windows: ctrl+shift+esc(system processes), ctrl+alt+del(task manager), window+r(run prompt), windows+d(drop to desktop)

Firefox shortcuts: ctrl+t(new tab), ctrl+shift+t(re-open last closed tab), ctrl+f4(close tab), ctrl+tab(next tab), ctrl+n(new window)

etc etc etc

But I’ve always felt in the dark when it comes to searching on google. I’ve had a number of times that a site has searched google for me, and I see all this “-allintitle” or “location:” thrown into the search engine for me. I’ve never actually run into a page that set out these terms for me.

Here is google’s page Google Advanced Search Operator Guide *update*(this is a much better Search Operator guide) where you can find all of the terms you available to you.

Here’s some exercises to see just how good you are at searching Google:

Exercises

Use the
site:
operator to search for armchairs on IKEA’s site, www.ikea.com.

Use the Advanced Search form to find the page whose title is “Some Ways to Detect Plagiarism.” When the title is entered in lowercase letters, the query box on the results page contains [allintitle: “ways to detect plagiarism” ].

Find all pages on google.com but not on answers.google.com nor on directory.google.com whose titles include the words “FAQ” or “help.”

Use the link: operator to see who links to googleguide.com, your company’s website, or your favorite website.

Find pages whose titles include surfing that are not about surfing the World Wide Web.

Find out where the upcoming international conference on AIDS is being held.

How can you search for [ google help ] on Google Guide, www.googleguide.com, and on the UC Berkeley library website, www.lib.berkeley.edu?

I mean, can you do these? If not, you’re probably not using the internet to your fullest capacity.
For hints and answers to selected problems, see the Solutions page.

—-

Here is a list of all of the search operators complete with links:

Product Search
allintext:
,
allintitle:

Search Service Search Operators Web Search
allinanchor:
,
allintext:
,
allintitle:
,
allinurl:
,
cache:
,
define:
,
filetype:
,
id:
,
inanchor:
,
info:
,
intext:
,
intitle:
,
inurl:
,
phonebook:
,
related:
,
site:

Found this on Camein.com(Though it was apparently produced by ChrisBrunner.com.) A couple things sound a little unfounded, but for the most part, it covers alot of bases and the video is interesting, and this doctor has done alot of work debunking marijuana myths:

1. Marijuana is more harmful than tobacco – Many people think smoking marijuana is just as harmful as smoking tobacco, but this is not true for many reasons. (For example, most marijuana smokers smoke the bud, not the leaf, of the plant. The bud contains only 33% as much tar as tobacco; Not one case of lung cancer has ever been successfully linked to marijuana use; Cannabis, unlike tobacco, does not cause any narrowing of the small air passageways in the lungs.) Click here for more details.

2. Marijuana is a gateway drug – We were taught in school that people who try marijuana eventually move on to crave harder drugs, usually with the implication that marijuana is addictive and coke or crack are just the next step. In hindsight, this is absurd. The primary basis for this “gateway hypothesis” is a recent report by the Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA), claiming that marijuana users are 85 times more likely than non-marijuana users to try cocaine. This figure, using data from NIDA’s 1991 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse, is close to being meaningless. It was calculated by dividing the proportion of marijuana users who have ever used cocaine (17%) by the proportion of cocaine users who have never used marijuana (.2%). The high risk-factor obtained is a product not of the fact that so many marijuana users use cocaine but that so many cocaine users used marijuana previously. It is hardly a revelation that people who use one of the least popular drugs are likely to use the more popular ones – not only marijuana, but also alcohol and tobacco cigarettes. The obvious statistic not publicized by CASA is that most marijuana users – 83 percent – never use cocaine. Indeed, for the nearly 70 million Americans who have tried marijuana, it is clearly a “terminus” rather than a “gateway” drug. Click here for a recently-released 12-year study on the subject.

3. Marijuana causes brain damage – The most celebrated study that claims to show brain damage is the rhesus monkey study of Dr. Robert Heath, done in the late 1970s. This study was reviewed by a distinguished panel of scientists sponsored by the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences. Their results were published under the title, Marijuana and Health in 1982. Heath’s work was sharply criticized for its insufficient sample size (only four monkeys), its failure to control experimental bias, and the misidentification of normal monkey brain structure as “damaged”. Actual studies of human populations of marijuana users have shown no evidence of brain damage. For example, two studies from 1977, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) showed no evidence of brain damage in heavy users of marijuana. That same year, the American Medical Association (AMA) officially came out in favor of decriminalizing marijuana. That’s not the sort of thing you’d expect if the AMA thought marijuana damaged the brain.

4. Marijuana use is increasing at an alarming rate – Reports of slight increases in marijuana use, especially among youth, are being used to convince Americans that a renewed campaign about the drug’s dangers is necessary to avert an impending epidemic. According to government surveys of the general population, marijuana use began decreasing in 1980, after more than a decade of steady increase. By 1990, the downward trend showed signs of slowing, but use-rates remained substantially lower than those recorded in the 1970s. Today 34.3% of high school seniors claim to have smoked pot in the last 12 months which is down from 52.8% in 1976, 50.9% in 1986, and just barely higher than the 33.1% of 1996. See for yourself.

5. Marijuana is more potent today than in the past – This myth is the result of bad data. The researchers who made the claim of increased potency used as their baseline the THC content of marijuana seized by police in the early 1970s. Poor storage of this marijuana in un-air conditioned evidence rooms caused it to deteriorate and decline in potency before any chemical assay was performed. Contemporaneous, independent assays of unseized “street” marijuana from the early 1970s showed a potency equivalent to that of modern “street” marijuana. Actually, the most potent form of this drug that was generally available was sold legally in the 1920s and 1930s by the pharmaceutical company Smith-Klein under the name, “American Cannabis”.

Professor of Pharmacology and co-author of Marijuana Myths, Marijuana Facts, John Morgan explains why marijuana should be legalized for the safety of the community:

6. Marijuana is an addictive drug – It is now frequently stated that marijuana is profoundly addicting and that any increase in prevalence of use will lead inevitably to increases in addiction. Essentially all drugs are used in “an addictive fashion” by some people. However, for any drug to be identified as highly addictive, there should be evidence that substantial numbers of users repeatedly fail in their attempts to discontinue use and develop use-patterns that interfere with other life activities. National epidemiological surveys show that the large majority of people who have had experience with marijuana do not become regular users. In 1993, among Americans age 12 and over, about 34% had used marijuana sometime in their life, but only 9% had used it in the past year, 4.3% in the past month, and 2.8% in the past week. A longitudinal study of young adults who had first been surveyed in high school also found a high “discontinuation rate” for marijuana. While 77% had used the drug, 74% of those had NOT used in the past year and 84% had NOT used in the past month. Compare this to a truly addictive drug, such as the nicotine in smoked tobacco with a 90% addiction rate, and the argument for possible marijuana addiction starts to sound very silly.

7. Marijuana damages the reproductive system – This claim is based chiefly on the work of Dr. Gabriel Nahas, who experimented with tissue (cells) isolated in petri dishes, and the work of researchers who dosed animals with near-lethal amounts of cannabinoids (i.e., the intoxicating part of marijuana). Nahas’ generalizations from his petri dishes to human beings have been rejected by the scientific community as being invalid. In the case of the animal experiments, the animals that survived their ordeal returned to normal within 30 days of the end of the experiment. Studies of actual human populations have failed to demonstrate that marijuana adversely affects the reproductive system.

8. Marijuana suppresses the immune system – Like the studies claiming to show damage to the reproductive system, this myth is based on studies where animals were given extremely high — in many cases, near-lethal — doses of cannabinoids. These results have never been duplicated in human beings. Interestingly, two studies done in 1978 and one done in 1988 showed that hashish and marijuana may have actually stimulated the immune system in the people studied.

9. Marijuana smoke contains over a thousand chemicals – True but very misleading. The 31 August 1990 issue of the magazine Science notes that of the over 800 volatile chemicals present in roasted COFFEE, only 21 have actually been tested on animals and 16 of these cause cancer in rodents. Yet, coffee remains legal and is generally considered fairly safe.

10. Marijuana is a drug without therapeutic value – Proposals to make marijuana legally available as a medicine are countered with claims that safer, more effective drugs are available, including a synthetic version of delta-9-THC, marijuana’s primary active ingredient. For thousands of years, throughout the world, people have used marijuana to treat a variety of medical conditions. Today, in the United States, such use is prohibited. Although 36 states have passed legislation to allow marijuana’s use as a medicine, federal law preempts their making marijuana legally available to patients. People undergoing cancer chemotherapy have found smoked marijuana to be an effective anti-nauseant – often more effective than available pharmaceutical medications. Indeed, 44% of oncologists responding to a questionnaire said they had recommended marijuana to their cancer patients; others said they would recommend it if it were legal. Marijuana is also smoked by thousands of AIDS patients to treat the nausea and vomiting associated with both the disease and AZT drug therapy. Because it stimulates appetite, marijuana also counters HIV-related “wasting,” allowing AIDS patients to gain weight and prolong their lives.

Camein.com’s “Marijuana” category links to some really good videos.
And this video is EXCELLENT. I’ve never heard someone so intelligently display how much marijuana does not make you stupid.

Inexperienced people on marijuana look and sound stupid and very quickly pass judgments on it that it makes them stupid. But it only makes you stupid if you let it. Being stupid is always the easy way out.
“Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I left my car keys on the bus! I should probably stop smoking so much.”
But I’ve got a news flash for you. You’ve always been an idiot. You’re probably even someone who has always been prone to not keep track of things. It’s only pointing out weaknesses of yours that you can work on. Nothing about it MADE you think about and get wrapped up in other things instead of being present with your bus ride, and getting off at the right stop/remembering your possessions. You chose to do it, and happened to be under the influence of Marijuana.
Now, you could argue that you find yourself to be more prone to lose things, lose track of conversations, forget where you are, etc; when you’re on on marijuana.
But I challenge you to not let yourself use that as an excuse. Hold yourself to a higher standard. Marijuana does not make you less alert like being drunk does.

You CAN remember your things. You CAN keep track in conversations and remain connected to the planet while you’re on the stuff.
It takes practice.

Regardless of which side of the debate you're on, it should be obvious that marijuana has ALOT of misconceptions and misinformations about it.

Regardless of which side of the debate you’re on, it should be obvious that marijuana has ALOT of misconceptions and misinformations about it. The fact that is, most people’s general thoughts such as “I dunno, I just know it’s bad.” and “Marijuana is a gateway drug.” all stem from one central location of mass hysteria and public indoctrination stemming from propoganda flms like Reefer Madness and a certain fed who was hellbent on winning this “War On Drugs”.

Which is fine, most drugs do deserve a bad wrap. They are very prone to addiction and cause severe health implications. Infact, the way they work in general just doesn’t even appeal to me. You get a boost up in some regard or another, and then afterwards you’re left not just in the deficit that is your real life, but you’re dropped down lower which makes it really easy to feel like you need more. As your tolerence builds, you need more and more until you’re approaching fatal levels and detorioriating your health at an incredible rate.

But marijuana is different. There is no artificial jittery boost of energy, happiness, or loss of consciousness that will leave a deficit in its wake. Just a shift in perspective. The high is what you make of it.

That’s why newbies don’t find it interesting, overly self-conscious people find it too revealing, and brilliant men(See if you can find a couple people you respect on this list.) find it expansive.

Psychotropics to me are very different than any other drug. Other classes of drugs artificially PUSH you into a “high” of feeling good. I mean anything from your legal hydrocodone, hospital morphine drips, and dentist’s laughing gas to the illegal crack, cocain, heroine, and extasy all make you “high” in my opinion.

Marijuana, acid, shrooms etc are just an entirely different sport. They are non-addictive(like we said, they don’t pick you up and drop you.) and do not guarantee a good time. If you’re shooting heroine and you’re getting arrested, the drug is going to be helping you feel good throughout this. Whether you decide to channel that into chuckling to yourself while you get arrested or you channel that into feeling an adrenaline boost and trying to fist fight the cop… the heroine is making your insides feel GOOD.

But if you’re tripping acid and any sort of negative energy enters your psyche, you can just trail down it and bad trip. You don’t bad trip on Extacy.

There’s something different to it.

It shifts your perspective. It lets you look at things differently.

Now… that can be very confusing to beginners and can leave you drawing blanks and not keeping track of your thoughts. But it’s like a bike, and as you begin to learn how this machine works you can get up on the bike and construct your own experience. And as you presently practice more, you will be able to execute further and further complicated maneuvers on said ‘bike’.

But the awesome thing about this is… the bike is YOUR BRAIN. You’re learning how to use your brain.

You live in your normal perspetive all of your life. Alot of people never break that perspective. They carry this image they have of themselves into each situation they encounter and impose themselves upon everyone else.
A more enlightened person would be capable of meeting a new person or situation as a blank slate and allow the instance to call forth from them the actions, emotions, and thoughts that are necessary.
Join in the dance that is human interaction.
Forget your preconceived notions of how the situation should go. It will all go perfectly as long as you’re just excited to be there.

If you bring enthusiasm without the filter of fear to any situation you will perform at your maximum.

And these are things Marijuana can help with.

This is why Marijuana is a part of the new rising consciousness.
You don’t need to be forced into drastic life changes to get the life-experience that comes with the contrast of your human ideas.
It can be delivered to you, in your own head. And considering this entire world begins and ends in your head, it’s just a quicker delivery.

A consciousness fastlane.

So I challenge you, look at something in a way you never have before and come to understand the magnitude of that insight.

Now go smoke a bowl and do that with the rest of the world.

Wanted to lay down the general song I stumbled into a couple days ago and has ended up hashing itself out pretty well.

I guess as a disclaimer to my first video, I’ll let you know, I’ve been playing guitar for about 2 years. But only recently started actually deciding to learn and solidify the basics and start from square one. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m a total beginner.

I specialize in jamming, as per all of my experience back in Jacksonville, Florida. Having people come in all the time from all over the city to jam just for the sake of beautiful music. And when you’re feeling the groove and you can kinda use someone else’s music knowledge as an anchor it’s alot easier to end up with some pretty incredible jams.
So I have made some pretty sweet love to a guitar a good few times. But when it comes to this whole, actually being accountable for every note I play and strum I hit or don’t hit, I’m not very well practiced.

So this is me working on it.

And this is me making up chords(which I’m sure exist somewhere, I just have never been exposed), and feeling out a rythm.
It didn’t quite come out as my current max potential, though I made it up a couple day ago, I have played it better than this. But this is still a good summary. Plus that High E solo at the end was actually completely by accident. I let go of the string too early and it should have messed up the whole melody, but it kinda created a solo of it own so I went with it and finished it out before bringing it back to wrap up the song.

Pretty cool.
Anyway, here’s my first recorded original!(…lol)

Stumbled upon an ugly company and software program and thought to share my experience to help spread the word. This is a rip-off report on Axandra.com and their IBP program.

So my day started early today. This is the one day I can sleep in since work is in the afternoon, but for some reason I felt well rested and got up about 30mins ago at 6.

Weird.

Anyway, I decided to just jump back into this SEO stuff. So I started with a look at my reader. I began reading the first page and came to find it to be just a load of advertisements. The site I found was Axandra.com‘s news letter. I was promised “how to get much better results on Google Adwords“, but what I got was just a lot of filler so that they could tell me about their products.

And you can see near the bottom there, their last couple posts both are pointing to how sexy their IBP program is. So at first this sounded like an interesting program, on the surface and the way they present these things, they always do. But with that I knew I need to look a little deeper. Upon a quick google search of “IBP ripoff”, I quickly got to get a perspective on the other side of the fence.

On Webmaster World(a site I remember was recommended to me by Richard John Jenkins from the Lynda.com lessons)someone asks about IBP and if it’s worth the money. In the response post Digicam seems to give a very level-headed review of all of the drawbacks. He praised one piece of software they provided, but ultimately ends with:

“Also price wise the $250 is for 1 years use, after that you have to pay something like $80 per year to keep using it, this is a ripoff I think, if the company disappears – which software companies of course do then your software is dead, also I do not like the way the software constantly “phones home” – I do not trust software with this ability as I do not know what data is bening sent back.”

Though this information is 3 years old, I definitely got the over-marketed, treating-me-like-I’m-an-idiot feeling I get from so many small-minded companies just looking for the $buck$ at the end of your conversation. This post only helped confirm from which camp these guys are. And unless I run into some profoundly different information later, that’s a camp I don’t need to be a part of.

I want to seek out marketing skills and profitability, but that comes with a requirement of adding value back to the market. Selling products that don’t actually perform or improve anyone’s life with hidden implications and fees is just worthless considering how many amazing products there are out there that people could benefit from connecting to.

There is no reason to go around trying to swindle people into a product they don’t need when there’s so many that they genuinely do.

Now, I certainly could be mistaken, but I specifically feel like Alexandra.com is a company doing it wrong. They likely came in the market, will make a little bit of money on the front end and fizzle out after a couple years. But who knows, they seem to have free tools, etc. But ultimately the way they endorse, ad-stuff their hollow newsletters, and don’t fully disclose information I’d clearly like to know in their products(like the fact that the large upfront fee is ONLY FOR A YEAR OF SERVICE) definitely make them someone to stay away from in my mind.

Peace guys.

Follow Keeler in his first steps into the murky waters of Search Engine Optimization. Online marketing is a such a massive, new frontier that is only going to get bigger. Being on the cutting edge of such a thing can be invaluable to any business that can benefit from more bodies being introduced to what they have to offer.

Right, so this is where I’ll likely lose you if you’re going to try to read everything, and don’t happen to be interested in internet marketing. So if you’re not particularly intrigued by the idea of moving your webpage to the top 10 spots in Google, then you can probably skip this. Otherwise, feel free to join me in the journey.

Right now I am learning Search Engine Optimization(SEO) for www.energage.com. As I become more proficient I’ll open up opportunities to do SEO for other companies. But for right now I am being paid to take the learning steps. So I think I’m going to use this to gather all of that experience together.

I may elaborate or lecture on topics, list links I’m following, recommend guides, etc etc.

So basically I started with discovering and becoming aquainted with resources I’ll be needing for later. I’ve configured my Google Reader to pick up on a wide number of SEO news sites, blogs and forums. So if at any point I feel like I need a new direction to run in with this stuff, I can just click this “next” button on my toolbar and be taken to some relevant and current SEO information.

Very cool.

I’ve been getting my very beginning information from www.Lynda.com; they have over 9 hours of video SEO training. I’ve only seen the first five or six, but Richard John Jenkins does a great job outlining all of the best resources for SEO education. And the site he recommends most is SearchEngineWatch.com which clearly appears to be a great wealth of information.

From there I’ve found this fantastic post for Search Engine Marketing 101 in which a moderator of theirs, Nacho just points you towards an incredible amount of information. I haven’t even gotten a chance to scrape the surface of what he’s put on my plate there. Props to him. And another one of Nacho’s posts Link Building 101 that again looks like invaluable information, but is probably a bit more than I can chew atm. I think I’ll look to that after I’ve completed SEM 101, but I wanted to atleast get it bookmarked here for future investigation.

In light of all of these fantastic links, though, I think the first order of business is going to be Search Engine World’s official “Intro to Search Engine Optimization“. It should be covering alot of things I already know. But I definitely want to be sure I have ALL of the basics down solidly. Any missing chips in my foundation are just gonna hurt me in the long run, no?

Alright, so that’s almost everything.

The last part is a tool I just ran into that seems legit(prior to any serious investigations). SEOmoz, if any of you have ever heard of it. They seem to have alot of tools that would be very very useful to an SEOr. I’d like to do some more research, but their system seems really promising, and $79/month isn’t really too bad considering the value you could really get out of it.

But we’ll see.

I’ll keep you posted.

…Duh.

PEACE

————

*Edit*

Just found this tab open in my browser, and realized I forgot to mention it here. Google apparently created a case study to prove how powerful their tools are, sounds really interesting. Google’s good at finding fun ways to do things. I’m hoping this gives me a good feel for what tools they have to offer.

What's up, I am Keeler and these are my thoughts.

No seriously, check it out.

Here's one.

...and another.
Somewhere you may or may not hear me talk about Obama, US Senate, Politics, teenagers, cellphones, electronics, computer repair, consciousness, global consciousness, enlightenment, Eckhart Tolle, Story Waters, Awakening, Lee Harris, Limitlessness.com, gutair, music, or address questions like: what is enlightenment, what are we...

What’s up, I am Keeler and these are my thoughts.

No seriously, check it out.

Here’s one.

…and another.

And another.

-

8===D

-

…

…And that one too, I guess.

and this.

-

-

-

-

-

-

-

-

-

-

-

I’m sorry about that. That was tasteless.

But if my filter has already weeded you out, you weren’t ready for this anyway. Because the point is, this is a place for my thoughts, not yours. So feel free to take them in. Enjoy them. But rest assured you need not worry your little heads about what should and shouldn’t be said here. I’ll take care of that, thanks.

Now there’s definitely a line though, you know? A line noone’s allowed to cross.
And that line is clearly defined for us under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

-

Article 19 General comment on its implementation

1. Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.

2. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice.

3. The exercise of the rights provided for in paragraph 2 of this article carries with it special duties and responsibilities. It may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall only be such as are provided by law and are necessary:

(a) For respect of the rights or reputations of others;

(b) For the protection of national security or of public order (ordre public), or of public health or morals.1

-

So regardless of who you are; I have a prescribed right not only to have these thoughts, but also to express them without interference.
And when it comes down to it, you are responsible for the way you feel, react and interpret the things you experience on my page. And really, that is a principal everyone should strive to adopt in all aspects of life.
It’s not everyone else’s responsibility to dance around your feelings and pet peeves while they’re trying to express themselves. You have the incredible human propensity to adapt at alarmingly fast rates. If something is bothering you, fix it. If you can’t fix it, enjoy it. Genuinely moaning, complaining, fighting and withdrawing do not assist in the progress of the human species. And at this point, if you’re not working with us, you’re working against us. We have alot of progress to make, and we could make it alot faster(and manage to not kill ourselves off) if we all didn’t have such a massive propensity to seek issue with anything we encounter that is divergent from the norm.

I am here to share experiences with you. We will be stretched, laugh, be moved, be entertained, and be educated mentally, physically and spiritually. That is… if you can hold on for the ride.

But as soon as you are reading this post, but halfway distracted about how much you don’t like to look at poop, you’re going to miss the real information flowing through here. And yeah, maybe that means you gotta spend a little time with some poop. The right path is not always the most fun. But we’ve got some pretty serious points to cover. And to avoid lecture as much as possible, we will do so through humor, art and drama.

There is a global consciousness arising and we are becoming one organism.

We are no longer Americans, Croatians, Indians(both kinds?), Germans, Japanese, etc. We are Humans. We are Earthlings. Or atleast, we will be capable of being so very soon.

Beyond threatening our further existence with nuclear bombs, technology is uniting the Earth in absolutely unprecedented ways. One of our species can communicate with another on the complete opposite side of the planet almost instantaneously. Now with just a mediocre laptop one can hold a conversation with a nearly instant transmission of sound and video from one end of the planet to another. And that’s just now with conventions available to the public. Just imagine how quickly and efficiently we will be able to communicate in even just 10 years from now.

Through the ages as the range and speed of our communication has grown, as has the size of our communities. First families, then tribes > towns > cities > empires, and for the last while, countries. Now is the time for the country bonding entities(The UN, EU, or new arising entities) to take hold and begin to become more and more prominent until we are all united under one flag. The flag of Earth. It’s just a matter of whether or not we can resist killing ourselves off before that has a chance to happen.

Our focus should now begin focusing more and more towards the stars, but we’re too distracted with fighting and killing each other over thought projections and false gods to notice the incredible dance of reality going on around us at all times. And the amazing people each one of us are, underneath all of the conditioned bullshit we’ve collected.

We have the opportunity to become one family that represents the particular Hydrogen atoms that collected around the sun, developed an atmosphere, randomly mutated, and created water and life that forms what we know as Mother Earth. We are all related. We are ALL of the same origin. We all share ancestors.
The way you love your brother who shares your mother, and your cousin who shares you Aunt; too love your different skinned brother who equally shares a relative with the same propensity for love and war your very own mother was born with. Just because the environment has spurned them one or another makes them no less your kin.

But don’t worry, I don’t plan on spending all my time lecturing you. I just thought you should be aware. And if you were aware, then I wanted you to be aware that I was aware. Awareaware… Awareawareawareawareaware. (Lawl, semantic satiation.)

So just keep in mind all of these little black squiggles on the page are, in one way or another, the direct result of the Electric impulses passing between the neurons of my brain. Nothing more, nothing less. And while these “little black squiggles” may change color, general size or even language and dialect over time, the fact remains that the text you are reading right at this moment is the culmination of 21 years of innumerable life lessons, experiences, maturations, and mental/physical evolutions that are entirely significant from any you’ve seen before. And the more you can take in from me, and the better I can represent my culminations of knowledge, the wider your perspective will be.

I will offer you links, storys, movies, recommendations, etc etc, all of which seem like things you could get elsewhere. But often just the fact that I have posted it, or the extra commentary I add for why I would post such a thing, or the relevance that is obvious to me is a giant portal to immense amounts of knowledge.
Because if you are reading something, anything and just thinking “Yeah, I knew that.” or “Yes yes, all this information is obvious.” you’re not thinking broadly enough. And that is in regards to anyone’s information regarding anyone’s information. It is your responsibility to pull out of it what you will. And there are brilliant observations to be made of anyone’s projections. Some just make it easier for you than others.

It’s a doorway to another mind. A mind that thinks differently than you. A mind that experiences differently than you. And just the fact that your information overlaps in certain areas is more information in and of itself.

You just have to find someone who’s got the balls to put themselves out there. Their whole ‘self’.

And that’s what I will strive to do.

I won’t hide anything. I will express my opinion regardless of how popular it may be. I will give you my word here and now; everything said here will be the most accurate depiction my human brain can interpret. That is, I will make effort at all times and be conscious of the manner in which my brain skews perspective on information I’d like to present. It is greatly limited in this way. Everything I witness will be slanted one way or another by my precognitions, anticipations and desires. But once one is wholly and honestly aware of such an issue one can default to always take in more information forsaking all of the silly “No, I’m right!“ “No! THIS is what MY slanted perspective has decided happened!!” that begets all ignorance.

And I proclaim now for myself, once and for all, that I give myself permission to forsake nothing to the natural light of truth. No deep-seeded belief, past conditioning, or intellectual tendencies will be given cards under the table and may not bribe the dealer. You’ve guys have been getting away with that for far too long.

I understand that “Every snowflake falls to its rightful place.” This statement is both divine and human. Everything happens the way it would have always happened. The way it was meant to happen. The way it had to happen. And mourning a moment that occurred exactly the way it set out to will only bring you madness. Merely watch as your awareness will take note of the “negative” occasion for you. When it happened, where it happened, why you can imagine it happened and how in the future it will handle the situation better. Just watch. Don’t scold yourself. Don’t punish yourself. You know what you did. And you know why it happened and what to do in the future.
If the why does not seem obvious to you, remain in a positive state and find a means to channel forth the answer. Whether you’re best at doing that through a friend, your notebook, some time on the toilet. Whatever it may be… if your mind is backed up and it isn’t producing perfect resolutions and pictures for you, allow the static to subside. The more angry, frustrated, bored, or depressed you get, the more interference you will produce that you’ll have to unweave later to get to the answer.

All of the work is already done for you. It’s just waiting for you to come retrieve it. But we just tend to choose to forge such a difficult path to get there.

And if we were always going to be in this moment together, lets make it awesome. I don’t care what tragedy led us here. In the greater scheme of things, nothing that goes on here matters. The cosmos has been around 20 billion years, the Earth only the last 4.5billion of that. And humans only a number of thousands of years of that.

If you consider how long the cosmos has been around, and how long it will be around after us, it’s easy to understand why the economy, or the breakup with your girlfriend doesn’t matter.
Because in the grand scheme of things nothing matters.

Things either will or they won’t. So I invite you here to ‘will’ with me here and now. If we are going to be here sharing this planet, we might as well make it as pleasant as possible. I will do my best to shower positive energy your way, and look forward to you shining back. But I also look forward to the intense negative energies that will be generated and shot back at me.
I challenge you to pick apart anything of my writings, beliefs, ideals, understandings and throw it back in my face with your facts and sources and links. I’m going to offer conjecture that to experts in the field may clearly show error or misconception. But as soon as you show me my perceived weakness and some building blocks for the revision, I’m only empowered. I will be looking it up and be better educated for it.

And the more negatively-framed and ugly, the more practice I get in dealing and communicating with people who communicate in such a way. I mean, most assholes just can’t help being assholes. But even total jerks can are full of incredible amounts of world truths.

So, awesome people and douchebags alike, your knowledge is welcome here.

Nothing is offensive by nature. Just your perspective’s understanding of it. And you have to have a vulnerability for it to hurt. And if it does hurt, it’s just your psyche showing you points of weakness to grow from; which sounds a whole lot closer to a blessing than a curse, if you ask me.

Here at this blog we strive to accept all realities and allow only fact and a scientific discretion to shape our reality, while still maintaining an imagination and passion for life and inner peace.

There should be something here for everybody.

Happy reading,

aaaaand PEACE
